Today I completed another immigration milestone!
An immediate family member was approved for US permanent residency! While the process was relatively uneventful, I learnt a lot about petitioning for a relative directly through a US Embassy as opposed to through the USCIS, as I've done in the past.
Are you temporarily overseas and need to petition for a relative? Feel free to email me and I will do my best to assist you.
Happy Migrating!
This blog is about my immigration journey - which began in the late-1990s - from Zimbabwe to the United States of America. I am sharing my experiences with the objective of helping individuals who, similarly to me, may find the immigration process impermeable. I am not an attorney and the contents of this blog do not constitute legal advice.
